Wiltshire’s only city, Salisbury, grew up where no less than five rivers met. Its famed cathedral with its 123 metre spire is visible from a wide area and houses one of the copies of the Magna Carta from 1215.

The station provides an interchange between the line from London Waterloo to Yeovil and Exeter and trains from the South Coast to Bristol and South Wales.
