This free app has been designed locally especially with Wiltshire’s and our TransWilts train users in mind. We’re bringing you GWR’s latest and up to the minute departure information directly to your phone or laptop.

We want to help you take the hassle out of your journey. Now you can check if your train is on time, or in worse case cancelled, before you leave home. You can also check at any time, anywhere, where your train is, when it is due and what platform it arrives on. Your personal departure screen on your phone, how good is that!

With our commuters in mind, the most popular TransWilts destinations outside Wiltshire are also included in the station list (such as Bath, Bristol, Paddington).

The App can be downloaded free from Apple Store, Google Play and via TransWilts website home page

Station List - Use the menu station list, scroll to select a station and tap to display the live train departures at that station. (Salisbury is being added to the list very soon in 2017)

Home Station - Your home station displays immediately you open the app – no station selection required. You can make any station your home station by just tapping on the home station link on your selected station screen. The home symbol will display on your home station and in the station list. Easily changed by simply selecting a different station link.

Favourite Stations - Use the station list to select your own favourite stations. Tap on the star next to the station name in the station list to add to your personal favourites.

Train Information - On the station trains screen tap on your selected train and the journey station stops are displayed together with the latest timing.

With commuters in mind - the most popular TransWilts destinations outside Wiltshire are also included in the station list (listed after the Wiltshire stations). Select any of these to add to your favourites list and then check on your return train times back to Wiltshire (Weymouth will be added in 2018).

Rail replacement services - are included in the app as if they were a train.

Cancelled trains - are shown but sometimes trains get reinstated, so re-check particularly for trains scheduled much later in the day. The app always shows the latest GWR information, but situations and platform numbers can change at the last minute, so always check closer to your departure time.

A warning yellow triangle - indicates potential service disruption, click on the train to display further details.
