Platform, the education programme supported by TransWilts along with other local community rail partnerships, is looking for a Learning Development Officer.
The role would be ideal for a qualified teacher looking to broaden their horizons outside the classroom. Platform provides bespoke programmes to teach children about rail travel and behaving safely on and around trains. It runs classroom workshops which are backed up by organised train trips to local destinations. These are provided to schools across the area at no cost to the end user thanks to financial support from the rail industry.
The role is based at Westbury and focuses on schools in Wiltshire and Dorset.
