Listeners to BBC Radio Wiltshire’s Breakfast Show will be able to hear a fascinating series of interviews with former TransWilts director Horace Prickett.
Presenter Ben Prater met Horace at Westbury Station recently and planned to record a short feature on his lifetime connected with the railways. After nearly two hours of chatting he had enough material for a mini series. The interviews cover his time at the Swindon Railway Works, the campaign to improve services at Melksham and his wider work across Wiltshire.

They are planned to be broadcast Monday to Thursday 13th to 16th April at around 7.20am with a repeat at 8.20am. They will also be available on BBC Sounds.
