All areas were affected by industrial action during the year but the continuing reliability problems resulting in cancellations depressed the figures for Melksham. It was the only station locally to see a fall, down from 64,206 to 63,350 – a drop of just over 1%.
Swindon remains the most used station in the historic country of Wiltshire, with over 2.8 million – an increase of just over 9%.
