This months Train Trippers visited Weston-Super-Mare.
We all had a lovely day out to the Weston-Super-Mare seaside on Saturday 6th August.
The group from Swindon and Chippenham travelled to W-S-M on the train. A nice smooth journey taking advantage of the beautiful countryside. We arrived at the beach by approximately 11.00am.
Everyone did their own thing for the day. Lots of fish, chips, ice creams and lollies were consumed 🙂 We were blessed with wonderful weather which was just perfect for building sand castles, dips in the sea and donkey rides.
The train got us back home at 18:30. Everyone was thoroughly exhausted after a great day. Here’s to our next trip later in the year. Do let us know if you’d like to join us on our future day trips. Email sophie@transwilts.org
